ITINERARY

Day 1: Santiago - Mendoza. We leave the big city of Santiago and head toward Los Libertores crossing the mighty Andes. On our way to the border we will cross one of the most inviting roads for motorcyclist's with its 32 curves, yes we have counted them!
Just after passing the border to Argentina we will stop at the "Bridge of the Inca" with its historical myths and legends.
On our way into Argentina we will visit the cemetery of the mountaineers that died during their climb on Aconcagua, the highest mountain of South America and still very important among climbers around the world. We cross the mighty mountain of Aconcaqua standing into the sky with its 6952 meters, also known as the roof of South America further on our route.
After a great lunch in the little cozy town of Uspallata (lunch included in tour) we head towards Tupungato where we will spend our night in a vineyard in the heartland of Mendoza wine region. Here we will take a wine tour and get a taste of the lovely grapes.
In the evening you will get invited for an Argentinian barbeque with lamb on a spear grilled slowly on the wooden fire (included in tour), this will be accompanied with fine Argentinian wine (375 KM).

Day 2: Mendoza - Santiago. We start our day early as it will bring roads one only can wish for on our route back to Santiago, Chile. We will take the gravel roads through Caracoles with more than 360 bends offering views of the Andes mountain range that one can only dream of. If we are lucky we will see some Vicuñas (Argentinian Bambies). On our way we will stop at Villavicencio for a break and to stretch our legs and taste the lovely smoked ham and homemade bread. After climbing the amazing Coracoles we will reach the old Paramillo mine from the year 1614. We will stop here for a break before continuing to the border and city of Santiago (410 KM).
